eventually, we know who mrs.courter and lord asriel is.
they are lyra's parents. it's really curious.
at first, i think master was the good man even though he
tried to kill asriel.
because master has watched and raised lyra for a long time.
so I think asriel had a some kind of bad plan through lyra.
however, we find out asriel is lyra's father.
in my opinion, if he is father of lyra, he is absolutely lyra's person.
i mean he won't hurt her.
then it means master is not good person?
i'm sure that one of them,asriel and master,are rascal.
maybe i can find the truth rest of the chapter;it's not far.
also,she know how to operate the alethiometer.
what lyra will ask to the alethiometer, and what result will be popped(make sense?)?
anyway, i feel that current chapter is very fast scene changing.

I also think the chapter scene is a very fast changing. We can know so many important informations in one chapter, like we knew Lyra's mother, father and her background, also alethiometer. Therefore, I think there will be more interesting things in next chapter.
I am also very surprised to know who the real Lyra's parents are! If I were Lyra, I wouldn't accept all the new facts so easily. I think Lyra must be a very strong child. The scene is changing so fast, so I think the story gets more interesing.
